Southern Israel, near the Nova festival - a group of Israelis murdered in their car and their bodies and the car are totally burned

When the attack on the Nova music festival began at dawn on October 7, 2023, thousands of young people ran for their cars and tried to drive away. Gunmen had already reached Route 232 and the roads around the festival site. They fired on the traffic, and many people were killed inside their vehicles.

Many of those cars were then set on fire. In the days that followed, hundreds of burned and bullet-riddled vehicles were towed from the roads of the area to a collection site near Tkuma, where they became one of the best-known memorials of the attack. The fires left some victims so badly burned that identifying them took weeks of forensic work.

This recording shows one such car near the festival site, completely burned, with the bodies of the group of Israelis who were murdered inside it.
